SYSPRO Canada has recently compiled a report covering manufacturing innovation in Atlantic Canada and in compiling this report I got to thinking about the relationships we have built over the years with our channel partners and our customers, and our continued success in retaining these customers. In this current economic environment, and more specifically in the fast-paced, constantly changing business software market there aren’t too many businesses that can proudly point to client retention rates of 98%.
The customers profiled in the report work in diverse sectors and have wide-ranging ERP software needs but the one aspect all the customers have in common is that they are global market leaders which have continued to evolve and grow. Some of these include:
- BioVectra, a dynamic and innovative player in the global biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries;
- 125-year old, family-owned and operated molasses manufacturer, Crosby’s, ;
- coffee industry dispensing pioneer SureShot Dispensing Systems;
- Cymbal designer and manufacturer, SABIAN, the choice of musicians in more than 120 countries.
Our report also highlights regional and federal incentives including the Atlantic Innovation Fund and the Digital Technology Adoption Pilot Program, that are being applied to modernize operations across the Atlantic Canadian manufacturing sector – including many software-led implementations.
When asked why we chose Atlantic Canada specifically, SYSPRO Canada President, John Fahey, summed it up: “With over 500 manufacturing and wholesale customers in Atlantic Canada, SYSPRO, has been at the frontline of the region’s diverse manufacturing sector for more than 15 years. By way of thanking our loyal customers, we thought it would make interesting reading to investigate how businesses in Atlantic Canada are evolving and thriving in local, regional and global markets.”
